About
the Project.
Hi! I'm a researcher. My daily tools are R (when I'm feeling productive) and JASP (when I'm lazy or short on time).
I genuinely enjoy running statistical analyses. I could spend hours tweaking models, exploring data, and watching results come in. But there's one part of academic writing that I absolutely dread: the Results section.
Manually copying statistics, formatting p-values, italicizing the right letters, making sure the decimals are correct... it's tedious. It's boring. And honestly, it's where most typos happen. It just drains the fun out of the research process.
"Why not just use AI?"
I've been tempted, believe me. But two things stop me every time: I don't feel comfortable handing my research data to an AI service, and using AI for writing needs to be disclosed in the paper. For something as mechanical as formatting statistics, that felt like overkill.
So I started building this tool. Initially just for myself, to make my own life easier. At some point I thought: maybe other researchers are stuck in the same loop?
Why It's Free
The philosophy is simple: this tool will always be free for researchers and students. We already don't get paid enough for the work we do; the last thing we need is another monthly subscription service eating into our research budget.
There are some usage limits in place to stay within the various free hosting tiers, but I doubt we'll ever hit them. If we do reach that many users, I'll figure it out then.
Collaborate
Everything is developed in my spare time. If you find bugs or have feature requests, please send them through the dashboard. I'll try to implement them as soon as I can.
Everything here is provided as-is, without any guarantees. Double-check your outputs before submitting that paper. I do my best to keep the engine accurate, but remember it's a project maintained by a single person.
Thanks for reading. Now go format those results.
